Over 200 women gathered in Bunda, Tanzania for the fourth annual Women’s Conference. The book of Ruth was the study for the week. Four teachers from McLean Presbyterian Church, McLean, VA provided the leadership for the conference. Mrs. Molly Preston, Mrs. Makiko Harrison, Mrs. Domi Kitula, and Ms. Dominique McKay taught with exceptional biblical and theological clarity, and with humility and grace. Once again, the enthusiasm expressed among the women was contagious. The opportunity for fellowship, prayer, worship, laughter, dancing and singing, and, of course, learning is deeply appreciated by women who seldom in their lives have had an opportunity like this. Thanks to Bishop Peter Pharles and the staff of the Diocese of Mara-Ukerewe and to generous donors who made this conference possible. Bwana ni mwema wakati wote!
